The Great Wall: This is the most important and significant attraction of China.The Great wall is the longest human-made structure, stretching for over 6,400 kilometers from Shanhai pass in the east to Lop Nur in the west. Peking Man Site: on the Longgu mountain, in the Zhoukoudian Village in Beijing is listed as world cultural heritage site in 1997. It is a complete skull of an ape man and it dates back to 600,000 years. This has been discovered by archaeologists in 1920s. Bridges are the vital links between different parts of town. 49 bridges join in a variety of style seven islands created by 15 rivers and five lakes upon which Tongli stands.
