In the capital city Beijing, the tourists can purchase tickets from Beijing Main Station (Metro Beijingzan) and or Beijing West Station (Beijing Xizhan). At the Beijing Main Station, the foreign nationals are entitled to purchase tickets from the North West Corner of the First Floor. The ticket counters are opened from early in the morning and remains open till late evening.
China Railway Museum based in the capital city Beijing, preserves the transition of China Railways from the beginning till today. The visitors are allowed to visit the museum and know about the history and development of the Chinese railways.
