History of China is very old dates back to 5000 years. The country is of great historical significance and has a rich ancient relics and historical documents. To reach the present stage China has gone through the stages of primitive society, slave society, and feudal society. The world's oldest civilization exists here. Based on evidences it is said that China was inhabited by farmers millions of years ago. The ancient relics, pottery and various tools from the excavation site prove this fact.

History of China states that China was unified under a kingdom in 221 BC. Many dynasties in China from then started ruling the country and this process established a bureaucratic system. Although many facts related to the history of China were complicated because of its language. China started its agriculture in 7000 BC. Yellow River was the key factor which helped in developing the civilization of China. Chinese started farming with millets which eventually gave rise to Jiahu culture. The Pre History of China is very abstract as nothing much is known about that period. The only information that is known is based on the cliff carvings depicting moon, stars, sun, gods and various things.
The Three Kingdoms Period brought a different change in the ruling system. Rights were given to underprivileged people and restrictions were made on landlord's right. Here are some dynasties of China which contributed to the history of China.
