Hong Kong Park

Inaugurated in the year of 1991, the Hong Kong Park spreads over an area of 8 hectares and displays a rare amalgamation of modern influence and natural landscape. Another very notable feature of the Hong Kong Park is that the entire park is streamlined with waterfalls, streams, ponds and cliffs from unreal rocks. Hong Kong Park is a public park and is located in the Cotton Tree Drive region of central Hong Kong in China.

The Park in Hong Kong is also a home to some of the most magnificent historic buildings like the Flagstaff House Museum of Teaware. Moreover, the Park also preserves buildings of former Victoria Barracks like those of:

  • The Cassels Block which were former barracks for married British officers. Today, however, it is turned into a visual arts center of Hong Kong.

  • Rawlinson House was earlier, the residence of the British Deputy General and has been converted since the 1980s into the Cotton Tree Drive Marriage Registry and Office for Park.

  • Wavell House is also another historic building that serves as an education center known as the aviary support center.

This Park in Hong Kong attracts a huge number of curious crowd who are intrigued by the mystical appearance of the Hong Kong Park. Besides, it is also considered to be one of the major tourist attractions in Hong Kong and can be easily accessed by walking through the Pacific place and the escalator close by.

Inspite of being located in the busy area that serves the business center of the city, the Hong Kong Park offers a pleasant, quiet and serene ambiance to the tired tourists visiting the park after an exhaustive day. Moreover, the Park at Hong Kong also showcases bird and plant exhibition like the Orchid exhibition that displayed a variety of beautiful Orchid trees. Garden Plaza and Tai Chi Garden are the two very popular gardens of the Hong Kong Park and it also consists of a very well maintained sport center as well as a squash center for those who are very passionate about various forms of sports.
